What is strategic technology consulting?
It is outside help to decide what to build, buy, change or drop in a company's channels, tools and processes, leaving a decision the team can carry out on its own.
What does digital transformation mean in practice?
It means a list of specific changes: which channel opens, which process gets automated, which system is replaced and which is kept, in a stated order. Without that list, the term describes an intention rather than a plan.
When is outside advice worth paying for?
When the decision is expensive to reverse, nobody inside has made it before, or the team wants a second opinion before committing budget. When the question is small and easy to undo, testing it internally is usually the cheaper path.
What should a written decision include?
